Process optimization

We realized a software solution based on several custom components written in Python, to automatically perform photo editing, which is a repetitive and time-consuming task. As their work was growing (thousands of images per day) the manual editing soon would have become unmanageble.

Besides Python, we have also introduced some new middleware solutions based on Riak and RabbitMQ, to handle data replications and to build a scalable and distributed environment. A PostgreSQL database tracks all the information needed to the control dashboard.

This solution is currently in production stage but several additional components are under development to allow the client (that is currently expanding its market) to distribute the work among different places in Europe.
